I absolutely LOVE living in Champaign-Urbana! I’ve been here for 16 years.
CU has an amazingly positive and energetic vibe. You’ll probably find me out socializing downtown, rooting on the Illini, walking in one of our many wonderful parks, or taking in some great live entertainment.
I’ve been a radio DJ for 18 years, so you’ve probably heard me around here a time or two. I’ve also had the privilege of hosting shows on WLS-AM, Chicago and I voice some commercials for them. If you ever call the COUNTRY Financial national helpline…that’s me telling you to “please press 1.”
My husband, George, teaches Entrepreneurial Finance at the U of I, and we own a business together called BIGG Success. We provide services to help small businesses.
He’s the chef of the house because I’m a terrible cook. We have two cats in our family that we spoil – Fraidy and Bud. My sister Sue lives here too! She works for WICD NewsChannel 15.
